It isn't your usual type of Christmas present,, but on 13th December, Mike Jameson, Chair of Birmingham IA, and Andy Greenway, Engagement Manager for the group delivered an Otto Ostomy model to the SCN team at Sandwell hospital. The package had been eagerly awaited by Sandwell stoma nurses Sara Connor, Joelle, Jodie and Nat.
Otto will be used for teaching purposes with new staff and those who are unfamiliar with stomas and may also be used in patient education.
